boy, do I have alot to write about....
First is the amazing story of how God is using a group of suburban 'Caryites' to help redeem a generation in
Haiti. Basically, our pastor gave our church a challenge and in one week...well, you'll have to watch it! All glory goes to God! Next.. Gerald and I went to Charlotte to take our citizenship test, and yes, we passed! Now we have to just wait for an appointment to take the oath (or in our case - to solemly affirm) I think the thing I'm most excited about is that I'll be able to vote in November!!! I'll register as unaffiliated...just so I can keep all my options open. My flag pole is waiting to be hung, and the flag will go up once we have our certificate...watch for it!!! Lastly, but not least, is the fact that Gerald's dad's wife, Ella, is dying. She has a short time left, and I would covet any prayers you might say for her peace. She is assured of her eternal home, but is struggling with some delusions (the drugs?) We won't be able to get up there before she dies, so the kids sent her notes, and pictures...so precious and beautiful. I'm so glad I can talk with my kids about death, and how it's NOT the end...just a GLORIOUS BEGINNING! God is good all the time All the time God is good peace
